Role-Playing Rules
01. All posts must be literate, so use proper grammar, capital letters, punctuation, and spelling where ever you can.
02. Do not curse in character. Instead, you can use words like 'fox-dung' or 'mouse-brain' and such.
03. Try to keep human terms out of your posts, and use cat terms for the two-leg things.
04. Be realistic. Cats can't outrun monsters, kits can't fight badgers, if a cat fell from 50 feet in the air, it's not gonna be perfectly fine when it lands.
05. Do not powerplay or godmode. They can't read minds. Do not make your cats perfect, invincible, and never misses or gets hit in a fight. Give the other person a chance to react before saying it automatically hit. If you're outnumbered, its unlikely your cat is going to win.
Bad Example: Bob dodged the rain of blows, lashing out against his five pursuers, knocking one out and shredding the other.
Good Example: Bob jumped out of the way of the first attack, only to be struck by another cat's scratch. Wincing, he lashed out with his hindpaw, attempting to knock one of them away.
06. Keep things PG, so don't be too graphic when it comes to breeding and what not.
07. Liquid time is allowed to a certain degree. This is a privilege, so do not abuse it or we will take it away.
08. All posts should have a minimum word count of 200, so try your best to fulfill this. If you need help RPing, feel free to contact one of the staff.
09. OOC is allowed in RP posts/threads, but make sure it's clear when it is OOC and when it is IC. You can do this by only putting it at the very start or very bottom of a post. Try to avoid posting only OOC, since it still counts as part of your post count and isn't fair to others.
*10. This only applies to StarClan/Dark Forest cats. You can have them walk in another person's cat's dreams/nightmares, but you must have their permission, whether it be for a plot or just to RP. Also, you should not have them popping into normal threads as spirits whenever you feel like it, for it rarely happens. When it does, you need the thread maker's permission. ;D
