Personality:
>>built
Ivymask is built to be a small but strong cat. Her body is very thin from the winter yet all you see under her pelt is muscles and bones. Being so small she tends to seem non-powerful. Though quite the opposite. This she-cats muscles ripples under her pelt. Ivymask was born with a more lean body, from birth she had a long tail and legs. It took a while for her to grow into these body parts, and get use to her lengthy body. Training was hard and easy for these reasons, she was smaller then most toms and sometimes even she-cats, she learned how to use her weight and long legs to her advantage.
>>pelt
Ivymask has a medium-length coat. Her fur is the color of creame on her back and torso. Tabby color is then mixed into this, like a ivy vine wrapping around her body. Her fur is very soft, almost velvet like since its on the short side. This flows all the way into her long tail. Which has short fur and turns into a tabby color toward the tip. Her legs are like this too, having dark brown socks on each foot. Ivymask has always liked these markings, thinking she is very pretty, but doesn't flaunt it like some she-cats.
>>eyes and face
She has an acute sight, but other wise has the same sight as all other cats. Her eyes are very bright green, greener then a new leaf when the new grass growing. Or when the leaves are big and full of life. Her eyes stand out very much from her dark colored fur that surround her eyes. Her eyes unlike most cats don't show her feelings. She can easily hide them this way.The ears upon her head are large and are always searching for the sounds around her. They are dark in color, almost black with tabby coloring. She has white whiskers, that are very long. Her nose is a light pink. Her face has a mask of tabby coloring all around her eyes and up to her ears.
>>DeterminationHistory:
Some might call it strong-willed, or even stupid; this she-cat will never back down. No matter what happens, come hell and high water, nothing will stop her once her mind is set. It is as though the difference between right and wrong forms into one item. An item of grey, that blurs her thoughts of anything else and grows till her task is complete. Now, don't get me wrong. She knows whats wrong and whats right, its just that she will go through anything. She thinks that if what she is doing is truly the right thing, it will block out the evil in the end.
>>Ignoring
Ivymask is one of those cats who just seem to get annoyed by everything. It more so really that she doesn't care and doesn't want to be part of whatever you are doing. Its just easier for her to ignore you then to hurt your feelings by saying no.Or something ruderMany things annoy her in which she'd rather just ignore then deal with it. Like stuck-up cats, they all just act like they are so special and cool. She just wants to rip their pelts off to show that she is much more deathly then them. She has a few close friends that she likes but the rest of her clan? She could care less about what your up too, unless your in trouble. Of course she'd go to any line to save your life but don't expect much more of a friendship. She does take her role in the clan seriously. If needed she would deal with anything to care for her clan.
>>Sharp-tongued
Ivymask doesn't have a nice soothing and sweet voice. No her voice is beautiful and hurtful. Like roses and their thorns. It might sound very sweet and make you weak in your knees but the words that come along with it are like knifes that stab you in the heart. This she-cat is not afraid to tell it like it is, which is something she can do usually without being reprimanded. She doesn't care about being rude to others, in fact she enjoys it. Shadowclan isn't made for mouse-brained cat, no these cats have to be tough to survive their own.
>>Courage
Ivymask isn't afraid to get into a sticky situation. She stands on her own paws and doesn't back down for anything. She almost enjoys the excitement of anything to get her heart racing. Anything that gets her mind off her past, so danger isn't a horrible thing for her. She enjoys feeling strong and powerful, not weak and useless. Which she was under her mentor's paws. If it is for her clan or for a cat she cares about she will go though all lengths to make sure the cat is safe. She isn't afraid of battles or fights. She will not put other cats in danger if they do not need to be placed there. For her own courage, she will go into any fight calm and knowing. She knows what might happen and isn't afraid to risk her life. She is a strong and strait forward kind of cat.
True blood Shadowclan run though this she-cats veins. Generations after generations of her family can be placed in this very clan where the next generation begins. Each family cat, a strong warrior who stood tall till the end. Her parents; a built tom of the name Thunderstep chose his mate, Shortpoppy, for her looks and attitude. She had a beautiful white and tabby coat like Ivymask yet was very petite and small. She might had been small but her attitude was huge, she wouldn't take no as an answer and stood her ground against anyone. He was in love with her and she wanted nothing to do with him. Yet his endless attempts finally got to her when she realized how old she was getting and how loving this tom was. Not many toms in Shadowclan would go out on a limb just to get a she-cat to like them. He was big and tough, yet around her seemed as if he wouldn't harm a fly. Shadowclan wasn't a for love and passion, yet these two cats took it in their paws and came out with two beautiful and healthy kits. Shortpoppy was glad that she produced strong kits for her mate and clan. She named the she-cat Ivykit for the way her tabby markings seemed to grow along her body up to her face. The tom was named Largekit, for her took after his father in size. Kit life wasn't always the happiest and funnest for Ivykit and Largekit. Their parents often were very strict and had many rules. Often the two were yelled at by mother and father, "Don't get under paw, either get out of others way or stand your ground and do was is needed." "Don't speak back, it is rude and will get yourself in trouble." "Go ahead and leave camp but if you get attacked by a mutant frog, do not come crying to me. You learn to defend yourself." Their parents words didn't make the kits afraid of camp outside instead it made them want to learn to become warriors like their parents. It wasn't like they didn't adventure and play though. Oh they did enough of that. Being young it was easy to make friends with other kits and apprentices. Ivykit was often picked to be the victim of her brother's play fights. since she was small and he was big it wasn't often she won. She would always tell him he wasn't being fair but they both ended up tumbling anyways. One afternoon while playing, their mother brought an alive mouse to them. Telling the kits that whoever caught it would get to eat it. Largekit was sure that it was all his but as their mother let it lose he forgot he was large built for fighting while his sister was tiny and built for speed. She quickly caught the dazed mouse and grinned as she came back to her mother. Yet she demanded that her brother shared the small creature with her. So the two kits ate.Relatives:
When it was time for the two cats to become apprentices it was known. Parents boated and the two kits were grown. Ivykit had earned long limbs and a small built body. Her brother on the other hand had a rather large body and smaller legs. He towered over his sister as they stood in front of their leader. Earning apprentice names was not as special as earning warrior names but both felt only pride swell in their hearts. Six moon old apprentices that each got named a warrior as a mentor. Ivypaw was given a tom by the name of Thornblaze. He hadn't had an apprentice before and was a little rough with Ivypaw. He would often yell at her and make her repeat something until it was close to perfect. Within a moon had done twice as much as her brother and was getting warn-out. Thornblaze told her that it was what she needed to get stronger and be a great warrior. Once while out hunting Ivypaw fell into a very muddy situation. She slipped and fell into a deep part of the marsh. Thornblaze made her get out herself before coming to her help. When she finally got out she was limping very badly yet Thornblaze told her to walk it off and keep hunting. She knew that he wouldn't let her go back to camp unless she caught something, yet her leg hurt so much. She picked it up and walked on three legs, hunting in pain. Finally she caught a mouse and got to go back to camp. She went strait to the Medicine Cat's den not even discarding her mouse at the food pile. Instead she gave it to the Medicine cat. She had a dislocated shoulder and was sent to her nest for five nights. She started to really hate her mentor after this. Moons came and went and she did her best to please her mentor who just controlled her like a puppet. She had her own mind away from him but around him she was quiet and knowing. Knowing that if she didn't do as asked he ask something harder and would force her to train all night or all day. While he sat back and watched. She told her brother about it and he threatened to hurt Thornblaze often. Yet Ivypaw knew that in only a little bit, when Leaf-bare came, she'd become a warrior. In this time her mother had grown pregnant with another set of kits. Ivypaw and Largepaw were very excited to meet their knew siblings. Leaf-fall was almost over when Thornblaze became very, very upset with Ivypaw. She became so fed up she screamed at him about controlling her. How she'd be a warrior soon and she'd make sure the leader knew all about what he was doing to her. He attacked her right there in then. Right in the middle of Shadowclan territory. He ripped his claws across her pelt and then mounted her and raped her. She did her best to shake him off and used the moves that he taught her to kill him. Her own teeth found his throat and ripped into it. Backing away she watched as his life drained and then ran back to camp. Her brother and a friend of Ivypaw's backed her up as she told their leader about what was going on and what just happened. He was shocked yet understood it was in self defense. He did not give her another mentor, she was to train with her brother.
A moon later the winter hit and she was given her warrior name, Ivymask. Her markings looked like a mask covering her face. Her brother had gotten the name Largeheart for how caring he was of his clan. Their mother gave birth to a kit by the name of . Only one kit was born from the she-cat and he was a small tom cat. He was colored more like Largeheart but his shape a size matched Ivymask's.
When the winter first started everything seemed to be going fine. Food was still high and all cats were healthy and active. Mothers did their best to keep kits out of the snow and warriors did duties as needed. Days past and the snow kept falling. Dens were being buried and had to be dug out. Cats had less to eat since warriors found it harder to hunt and older/younger cats were falling sick. Greencough and whitecough were always an issue in the winter months. The medicine cats had it stocked up and were ready for it but it was worse then they thought. After the first moon apprentices were already falling sick and bodies had already started to fall. Shadowclan didn't leave camp much except for a strong warrior who went off in search of any source of food. Cats were chewing tree bark just to have something in their stomachs. Soon warriors were falling sick also. Ivymask watched as her mother and brother started showing signs of being sick. Her brother refused treatment, saying he was fine and that others needed it more. Ivymask made her littlest brother sleep with her at night, just so they would have each others warmth. When her brother fell dead and her father got sick, Ivymask started hating the winter all together. She was so upset with the stupid season and wanted it to be over. Yet another moon was in store and she knew that her mother and father wouldn't make it though.
When the winter did finally break and the breeze started to feel warm again she was horrified by the numbers her clan actually lost. Every-cat seemed dead or looked like death was about to grasp them. Ivymask's ribs shown though her pelt but she refused to act weak. Her clan needed help and she would be there. She helped in hunting parties and did her best to let the winter go behind her. Bodies were taken out of camp and placed in a place the clan cats didn't go often. They were mourned for a whole day and then the clan had to be remade. They had no deputy, where Ivymask was made into one. She had to say yes because she stood strong though all that happened to her. It was as if her emotions no longer mattered and her clan and her littler brother were. She only stood for them.

Ivymask's whiskers twitched in her sleep as a small ray of sunlight found its way around the roots which made up the warrior's den. The short dream she was having ended quickly as she was woken up. The sunlight shown into her eyes and made her uncomfortably warm. She wasn't one to like sunlight or heat. Living within the bog made it impossible for the light to make it though the foggy days. It was often humid but not directly hot. She flicked her tail over her nose but couldn't ignore the heat that rose on her neck. Her whole body felt like it was burning from the touch the light made. She could hear warriors padding outside and could only imagine them squinting and blinking at the sunlight. Their eyes not use to the brightness it caused and they could only wonder farther into it for the trees didn't offer much shade in their deathly conditions.Other: Other Cats: She's my first :3
It was a surprisingly good day out when Ivymask wondered from the warriors den; the only trees that took place in her clan created mesmerizing patterns on the floor of the camp; shafts of golden light shimmering as a gentle breeze blew the otherwise still leaves that hung barely to their branches. Not that many of the cats in the camp could see the true beauty of the bog, the true power of their own home. Ivymask was one of the many who never stopped to wonder about the beauty. She didn't see beauty instead she only saw what her duties were for the day. Raising her light green eyes up from the sunlight she had been almost absently watching, Ivymask’s gaze swiveled over the cats currently in the camp. So many strangers, so many faces and names she had never took the time to learn, all living here. It was more than a little bit overwhelming for the she-cat. She would have to learn every name. Learn how to deal with every cat and know how they acted on a daily-bases. Knowing that she'd need each ones trust and understanding. She wasn't going to be hated in her clan, no she was going to be a grand deputy and when time calls for it, hopefully not soon, a grand leader.
Some of her clan noticed that she was staring. She wasn't actually looking at the cats who shot her questionable glances, no she was looking past them at a their leader who had just padded though the entrance. The she-cat moved though the crowd quickly and quietly, not letting the cats get a second glace at her before disappearing though the sea. Only being seen clearly as she stopped before her leader and dipped her head in respect. As she stopped before her leader, she asking her simple questions about what was going on today and what needed to happen. She also asked about the weather, and why it was so odd today. Ivymask got simple answers back, a patrol was sent out already and another one was going to be sent out later in the day. The weather itself, was also a questioning matter for the young leader. Ivymask dipped her head and asked about a hunting party that she'd like to set up. Of course it was a yes, and she was set off to find warriors who had no duties for the moment.
She quickly found a group of three warriors who'd follow her in a hunting party, leaving camp quickly before having to do something else. Ivymask didn't love hunting yet she didn't hate it either. She enjoyed it because she could feel the burn of her muscles and the freedom of being out of camp. She quickened her past to a run and sprinted towards her favorite hunting place. The Fathomless Pools held some of the best fish she had ever tasted. She enjoyed the water and on such a hot day it wasn't bad to be fishing. She told two of the three warriors she brought along with her to hunt in the surround area as she and a tom would fish. She knew the pools were deep and probably connected together underground. She went over to a smaller one and stood above it while the tom took his place next to her.
They had learned to fish from outside of the water, for the pools were too deep for the cats to stand within. Ivymask dangled her paws over the edge and slipped them into the water. Of course the surrounding fish swam away at first but they quickly decided her paws weren't harmful and twirled around them in quick flashing movements. Ivymask smiled, "Mouse-brained fish. Dancing with their own death." She said to the tom next to her. He chuckled softly, his own paws dipping into the water with the same slow movements Ivymask made. The two cats waited and with the word, "Now", scooped up two of the larger fish and threw them onto land. with identical moves they bit into the fish with clean kills and left them on the ground in a pile.
By the time they finished the four cats had caught a total of: five fish, a mouse and three frogs. They carried them back to the clan and dropped them in the fresh-kill pile. Each warrior proud to feed their clan, proud.
