EAGLESTAR Eaglestar did not let his expression give anything away. If these two cats wanted to throw pointed comments, let them. He was no fool nor would he act as one. The two leaders would be disappointed to see he would not fall off the rock tonight or anything along the lines of such. Although he wouldn't mind throwing back one-sided comments, since they seemed to want to play that way. Not waiting for Icestar to speak, he pushed his way to the front to share news of Windclan. Tactfully, Eagleflight left news of greencough unheard of from him. As far as the other clans were concerned on their parts, Sparrowstar was simply a bit ill. The thought almost made him sigh but he caught himself in a close enough time. The leader was definitely not her fittest and it was obvious that her last life clung to a thin thread. He couldn't help but keep some home. "As made obvious by her lack of appearance, Sparrowstar is not in her best condition." Eagleflight threw a quick look to Hailstar, a gleam in his eyes. "As her deputy, I will be representing her for tonight's gathering. The prey is running well for the clan as Newleaf makes its presence known. Just as Riverclan intends to, Windclan will do well it strengthen it's own borders." Inwardly, he made himself a quick note to let Sparrowstar know of possible intentions from Riverclan and Hailstar. It's obvious this cat wasn't looking to keep peace and especially not with Windclan. Dipping his head, Eagleflight stepped back for Icestar to speak. He was aware it was bold and probably rather cocky of him to just take a step ahead of the Shadowclan leader but he wanted to make it clear he was no cat to push around and take lightly. If he had to take matters into his own paws, so be it. Icestar wasn't looking to make friends either, by the looks of it anyways. This was dangerous, though,If the two clans decided to gang up on Windclan, they'd be no match. The bout of greencough in camp couldn't be overlooked and it was obvious it wasn't about to just fade away soon. Making allies with Thunderclan didn't look like much of an option, either. Who knows what they were going through to miss a gathering. Eagleflight wondered idly of whether to persuade Sparrowstar on letting the clan check up on Thunderclan or not. Perhaps the clan truly was in danger and three clans was worse than four. TAGGED: OPEN CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

EAGLESTAR Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. ""Pay attention, Icestar is about to speak, and do watch your footing in this muck, we are training later and I need you in one piece." Training?! Yes! Ratpaw's ears immediately perked up at the tom's instructions and his mood quickly escalated to a feeling of glee. Straightening himself to look presentable, he followed after his brute mentor. While he pretended to listen intently on what the leader might be saying, he was deep into the thoughts of what Raggedtooth might be planning to teach him next. Ratpaw was still a new apprentice but the tom very deeply wanted to learn training. Especially early on now with the clans facing all kinds of trouble, there was sure to be a lot of tension and tension never sat still for long. Plus, a lack of fur meant a better canvas for scratches and easy targets. It was almost unfair how the other apprentices always teased him about that but his blunt words managed to shut them up and have them crawling away back to their friends. Ratpaw truly prided himself in that. He knew how to defend himself unlike others... with words, anyways.
Lilystem seemed to appear from thin air for his thoughts were broken when she came into view, next to Raggedtooth. He wondered then froze. Oh... that's right... his father... And just like that the tom felt sorry for his mentor. He wouldn't know what to do if his father was killed, especially in such a tragic event. Quietly he padded next to Raggedtooth and looked up at him with wide eyes. The tom was acting so strongly, even in the death of his father. It impressed Ratpaw and he touched noses with the body. Lilystem dipped her head and made a hasty retreat, causing Ratpaw to tilt his head. Was she embarrassed. He could kind of see why. He wasn't too sure himself what to say to Raggedtooth but he shrugged it off. His mentor was one of the strongest and best warriors in clan, emotionally and physically. He was confident in him, especially with the promise of training later. Ratpaw wondered idly how that would play out.
Ratpaw grumbled, still impatiently waiting for Icestar to speak up. Cats were slowly making their way to the center of camp. The sound of mud sloshing around constantly as paws set down and up again almost made the young apprentice sick.He had been hearing that for days and it seemed almost like a part of life now.

It was morning. The rays of the early sun peeked shyly through the growth of trees over-hanging the camp but it did not may the day bright. No, instead the day was dark with worry and depression. A terrible flood of ice water and rain has raced down into the Shadowclan camp, injuring and killing fellow clanmates. Sleep never came and to hunt was like being in a circus show; every where you set paw, you sank deeper into the thick and moist mud. It was dangerous for everyone, you either broke your foot trying to hunt or just endure the day without a meal.
Ratpaw decided he wanted not to break his paw and possibly never become a warrior so he went through the morning without breakfast. His stomach rumbled quietly and it irritated him, the always noticeable empty feeling in his belly. But no other cat had anything to eat either so it made him feel a bit better. There were a few scraps of frog and mice which were divided among the meager survivors. Ratpaw felt sympathy for his clan. They were weak, no doubt. Even the arrogant male knew that much. A bitter thought crossed his mind. Windclan and Thunderclan were strong and they wasted their time showing off their speed or their ability to hunt through dense undergrowth, shouldn't they be lending a paw?
Of course not. To Ratpaw, they were selfish and fox-hearted fools. Besides, Shadowclan didn't need help from fat, stupid felines who spent their days lounging freely in the sun while Riverclan and Shadowclan actually did their jobs. Especially those half-blood cats that call themselves Thunderclan. The hairless tom had grown to Icestar's idea of hating any half-clan and kittypet warriors. They were a poison to the forest, in his mind. Good for nothing but catching a slow mouse, any task another clan apprentice could do. They were nothing but pathetic. He sat in the broken and dim-lit apprentice den. Or what was the apprentice den. Now it just looked like a scrap of twigs and debris, held together only by the little strength of wet soil.
Pushed from his thoughts, he heard his old badger for a mentor called strictly for him. "Mouse-dung.." Ratpaw had foolishly spent too much time lying around in the pile and got up coolly, still arranging himself to look proud and faultless. So what if he spent just a little too much time sitting? He was working pretty hard for a new apprentice. Ratpaw held no shame and walked proudly to his impatient mentor. While openly boastful and overly happy with himself, Ratpaw did prize having a respected senior warrior for a mentor, even if he did remind him of a lumbering old badger. Still, he taught him a lot already.
"Ratpaw! If your not floundering around in the water like a drowned namesake then present yourself so that I can see you yet live." Ratpaw snorted. Annoying, as ever. Emerging from the apprentice's quarters, he walked across the camp to Raggedtooth, who might as well had their tail twitching if it weren't for the stern look upon his face. Cats were gathered around Icestar and by the serious look on his face, he must have called a meeting not too long ago. "Mouse-dung..." He'd never heard the end of it and, mustering up his courage, decided to get it over with. Ratpaw wouldn't bother with an excuse, he was smart enough to know that they'd never work with a warrior who's been through it all. Instead, he mustered up the sincerest apology he could. "Sorry, Raggedtooth."
Ratpaw saw the monstrous mess behind his mentor and sighed sadly. The camp used to be such a beautiful, proud sight to Shadowclan cats. But now it was even more of a reason for the other clans to make fun of their home.

& what lies lurk in kisses- - - - for that face that launched a thousand ships Eagleflight purred. "Soon, my apprentice. You'll be taught how to fight with all the strength of Windclan soon. However, I need you to pay attention." Windclan let his tail waver in the brushing wind, combing both their fur and the trees around them. The hill was large enough to see nearly all of Windclan's grounds but more specifically the camp. Tiny figures bustled past each other like a large line of working ants, their minds set to complete their objective no matter the distractions/limits. It sort of amused him in one way or another, to think of his clan as ants. However he pushed the humorous thought away, reeling back into reality as Eagleflight's apprentice fidgeted, obviously taking his word and taking note of her surroundings. She stilled, and he could tell that she was doing as told and was going it to the best of her abilities. Eagleflight mentally praised Soaringpaw, relieved to actually get to the lesson.
"Well I see clear skies, and I can't hear any danger... or other cats nearby."
A good start for an apprentice on her first training. "Well done. The skies are clear, but how about the bushes? The trees? How about the sound of the wind?" He didn't want to put her down which wasn't an easy task but still, Soaringpaw may take his corrections the wrong way. The wind grew stronger at his correction and the bushes rustled in rhythm. "Notice how the wind makes the bushes rustle and sway. But-" Eagleflight paused to look at her momentarily. "What if the bushes were moving and making noise but there was no wind? There are many possibilities as to what it could be based on sight and sound. But this is where your nose comes in." Glancing at the sun to check time, they were slightly off-time but that was their punishment for a late start. Still, Soaringpaw had shown great promise with her bountiful energy and willingness, well, sort of willingness, to learn. Eagleflight chuckled quietly. The clan would have their hands full with this rambunctious apprentice. "If it's rabbit, it's a rabbit in the pushes. If it's a cat, identify if it carries our scent or not. All your senses will sharpen with practice and you may one day save our clan from a surprise attack." WORDS 387 TAGGED soaringpaw NOTES ugh, i am so sorry for the short post. Name: Ratpaw Age: 6 moons Gender: Tom Clan: ShadowClan Desired Rank: Apprentice Appearance:
body ➳ Far from being a beautiful cat, Ratpaw resembles, well, a rat. The tom is a hairless Sphynx with no glistening fur coat and just wrinkly skin colored with darker markings. His head is like an oval as it's round in the back and longer, but round, in the front. His muzzle is long and his eyes appear huge on his skinny head. They seem dark and menacing and partially because he is. They represent half-cut circles, almost seeming tired in a way but they are always watching and observing. Ratpaw's ears are very curved at the tips and point in a diagonal direction up, with a tuft of fur sprouting from the tips.
Some longer fur does appear around his snort for a muzzle but it is short and sparse. Wrinkles touch his forehead, making him to be in constant thought, like an elder. Many cats outside of the clans are disgusted by his gangling, elder-like appearance but Shadowclan knows that it makes him seem a monster of the night. Ratpaw's body is no different than his head, in fact it may just give you a nightmare or two. The skin overlaps itself, causing folds and wrinkles everywhere. At his stomach at seems to droop in an ooze-like way. It doesn't quite drag along the floor, but it is still a sight to see.
His legs are a different story. The skin on them seems to wrap tightly around them like wrap. The paws on this tom are probably the worst to see. Hairless, plump toes with sharp claws sticking it isn't a beautiful sight to see. It's a good thing paws appear on the floor as most cats are too shy after seeing him whole to take a look down and stare awkwardly at Ratpaw's feet. Nothing about his sight bothers him nor does being stared at or given dirty looks. He can't change himself so why fret?
The bone can be seen through his tail and you'd be able to mistake him for not having any skin on it at all. Skinny, long, and always waving above his back in an all-too-arrogant way, it's the icing on the cake.
pelt ➳ Although Ratpaw has no fur, he still has distinct unique markings. Many find it odd that they should appear on his skin rather than the fur which he lacks. Others assume it's to make up for the ghost of his non-existent fur. Ratpaw's ears are rimmed with a deep black while a nick of white appears on his right ear. His face is a gray rimmed at the muzzle with a strip of black. A white blaze stretches up his muzzle, stopping where the black begins. The tiny triangle that makes up his nose is black with a circular dot to the right of it.
Going down his neck to his back is a large, gray saddle with an uneven edge. His bum also carries that light grey shadow and carries it down to his rat-like tail. His eyes are a subtle but sharp green, piercing.
Personality: arrogant ➳ This young tom sees no end to his success. To him, everything he does is perfect in it's own way and needs no change. If told he has done something wrong, he'll do it again and again until Ratpaw sees it's perfection. This makes him a disliked cat by most who can't see through the cover of his arrogance. He exaggerates everything he does to seem better than it truly is and doesn't see the wrong in it.
boastful ➳ He'll proudly voice his 'perfection' to all, again exaggerating it to farther lengths. Some may be awed but most get annoyed and tired with it, seeming to find a chance to reprimand this behavior. Ratpaw wants everybody to know he's no normal apprentice, but an important fighter and hunter, despite still in training.
bossy ➳ You'd think this cat was a senior warrior with the way he trots about giving orders. He'll gladly tell you to do something and to do it quickly and in a coordinated manner. He doesn't often take acknowledgment to his age and rank or the orders of another. Ratpaw will do his own thing and boss your around despite the circumstances. Otherwise he'll badger you until you do it. Of course, this can get him in trouble a lot of times when he does this behavior around warriors but he has acquainted to doing it just around willing apprentices. Anybody who can do the dirty work for him is fine by him.
ambitious ➳ From his bossy and boastful ways you can already assume the title Ratpaw wants. His ambition can make him a dangerous cat, even if young. The hairless sphynx will do what he can to put himself in a higher chance for leader than others, even if that means stepping into a patch of sun for hours if so. Ratpaw could be a good leader but he'd have to lose that arrogant mind and see past his own 'godly' ways and seek the true power in Shadowclan.
loving ➳ Ratpaw may seem like a cat who is too full of himself to love any other but that is incorrect. He is capable of loving, you just need to show him your feelings first. He is a shy cat, surprisingly, when it comes to the topic of love and is too afraid to show his feelings first. Ratpaw would be a loyal companion and has sometimes thought about if he'd ever have kits of his own.
History: kit ➳ Willowthorn was not an all too happy cat on her first litter. It was never her or Timberclaw's idea to have kits and only planned to spend their time grooming and spending time with each other. Timberclaw was like an irritated badger when he found out the he was going to be a father and strayed away from their relationship, often seen with another female. Willowthorn had a painful birth too, nearly losing the kits she carried for moons and dealt with. However they all managed to survive their first few sunrises and finally mustered up the courage to name them.
Ratkit, Nightkit, and Firekit were their names. Willowthorn was an impatient mother and a cold one as well. She pushed them out of the nursery early on, encouraging them to explore. Anything for them to be away from the nursery. Naturally the clan disapproved and often had to reprimand the kits themselves, though they knew it was no fault on their part, and shoo them back to the nursery where Willowthorn pouted grumpily. This induced the kits to grow up earlier than natural, not being able to experience the life of a kit.
Ratkit was always the bigger brother to both of his siblings. He lead them through trouble and often pushed them to do things he wouldn't do, like snag a claw on the elders's pelts or ruffle up the leader's nest. They were a troublesome bunch but the clan couldn't blame them, their mother was ignorant and cold. Timberclaw usually strayed away from them, trying to avoid having to reprimand his own kits, even if he never wanted any. It was by this time he had a new mate and moved on.
apprentice ➳ At the peak of their six moons of age, they were called upon by the leader and given their apprentice names: Ratpaw, Nightpaw, and Firepaw. This put them all in a good mood and Ratpaw would go on and on, boasting about how his size and personality would have him as deputy quicker than they could catch an old mouse. Timberclaw was rather proud of his son's determination and ambition but also resentful that he rejected them. He was starting to grow a soft spot for them and would often speak to them.
This made Ratpaw happy and thanked Starclan for every chance he got to talk to his father.

Name: Wolfstorm Age: 64 moons Gender: Tom Clan: RiverClan Desired Rank: Warrior Appearance:
body ➳ Wolfstorm is large like the prefix in his name suggests. Because of his size, you'd assume he was a slow cat in water and not originally born from a Riverclan descendant. Wrong. It's not all fat down there, a large portion of that size is good, strong muscle that has been achieved through years of successful Riverclan-blood breeding. Churning through water is an easy task for him. While his coat is thick and water-resistant for the most part, it still carries a good amount of water and takes a while for it to dry off. This gives him a good excuse to sun-bathe often after swimming.
Wolfstorm's head is large and square, eyes somewhat small but observant. His muzzle is large and a bit elongated, like a wolf far off in the wilderness. The burly tom has long fur, making him seem even larger than he truly is. The soft fur peaks out from his ears and appears lightly on the tip of them. Wolfstorm's body is, as mentioned, large. Many are no match for his strength. However, despite being a large and strong cat, he is definitely not a fast one. Slow, quick turns can have him stumbling over his own paws if he is not careful.
His legs are thick like the roots of a tree and his paws are huge, with claws sharp like needles. Despite them being worn from age, they still many to nick on a small root or a tough piece of bark. The tail on this tom is a striking feature of his. It is big. Almost matching his whole body but really the truth is, it's simply long fur making it up.
pelt ➳ His long, soft fur holds a dark grey coloration to it. It stretches to all parts of his body however a distinct white marking covers the whole of it. Darker gray tabby markings are littered throughout his body. The snow white color stretches from his forehead down to his muzzle, making a white rim under both of his eyes. It then stretches down his chest past his stomach and stopping under the base of his tail.
His right eye is blue while his left eye is brown, a mysterious feature that captivates cats more often than not.

Name: Snowflurry Age: 35 moons Gender: Tom Clan: ThunderClan Desired Rank: Warrior Appearance: body ➳ Snowflurry's thin body structure starts with his elegant and high-held head. It is square and seemingly flat at the back however there is a slightly slope in features on the front. His muzzle resembles a sharply cut diamond in shape and his pink nose small but acute in smell. The tom's ears are very long and triangular and sit closely to each other on the top of his head in a perch-like fashion. Soft fur protrudes from the inner's of his ears and around them, tufting the tip of them. Long whiskers seem to float freely from his muzzle and are hard to see because they are so thin and clear in detail.
The white tom's eyes are large and round, always seeming to have an essence of kit-like curiosity to them that have other cats gazing into them in wonder, as if they were portals rather than eyes. Moving down his body you stop at his small but sharp shoulders that appear under his fur. Smooth and lightly defined, they move smoothly as he runs. Both back and front legs are thinly-furred and are long and stilt-like, connected to small and agile-looking paws.
Long and very soft fur, resembling snow, appears on his average-length tail, thighs, ears, and slightly on his rib area. The skin on his sides and back seem to cling like wet cloth to him, showing ribs and slight definitions of his spine. Snowflurry is not a starving cat however he has the slight appearance of one, if it weren't for his pure white coat revealing his well-fed manner. Snowflurry is often mistaken for an all-too-elegant kitty-pet however he simply brushed this off sparingly, knowing that in his true heart he is a warrior. The thin tom may seem weak and a pet in looks, but he is far from it. Once a wild cat, always a wild cat.
pelt ➳ Snowflurry's pelt is as white as you can get without going blind. While a feature that makes him a handsome cat, at best it's more of a hassle. Because of how pure of a snow white it is, even the smallest pinch of dirt can be seen and he has to take constant baths. Mud takes forever to be washed away from his pelt and when it does leave, it stains. Then he has to proceed with more licks and more baths. Snowflurry avoids going on any mission that dirties his pelt which restricts him greatly. He wouldn't mind going without cleaning his pelt but cats throw him odd looks whenever he doesn't.
His eyes are bright and almost mesmerizing. Snowflurry has what you call "heterchromia" eyes. His left eye is an ice-like blue that is almost piercing if it weren't for his always friendly and calm gaze that sees through the ice, shattering it. On the right is a bright and sunny yellow, always glistening and excited in a way. Both eyes are seemingly rimmed black much like eyeliner.
[/blockquote] Personality: accepting ➳ Snowflurry is not a highly judgmental cat, nor one to be extremely distrustful without true reason. He is a cat who is accepting and loving of all, despite any differences. While a nice trait, this may end with him getting a little too close to comfort with other clan's cats at gatherings but he truly can't help himself. Snowflurry welcomes all newcomers in the clan, whether kitty-pet, loner, or half-clan. All equal the same to him: a living, breathing feline. It seems highly unfair to him to cast out a cat who comes from somewhere different or is not pure.
cheerful ➳ This white tom is not one to be easily mad or sad and is a generally cheerful cat. He loves spreading smiles and enjoys his friends enjoyment above all. Snowflurry will invite any lone cat in the clan to come and sit with him to eat, as he can only imagine the immense sad it must bring to have to eat alone. Snowflurry stays cheerful to bring a positive attitude to the whole of the clan and hoping to incite others to remain cheerful and bright as well. It is hard for him to feel a sense of sadness and understanding when cats are down and while some cats enjoy his cheerfulness as a way to get up, some cannot seem to recover with it.
loyal ➳ Although Snowflurry can get unusually friendly with cats from other clans, Thunderclan is always his main priority. While he treasures all friendships he has, he'll throw it all away to protect the heart of his clan and his clanmates. It hurts but loyalty to his clan is above all for him. Not only is he loyal to his clan, Snowflurry is loyal to his in-clan friends. He can keep truly important secrets and will do nearly anything for them as he loves them all, even if they are enemies.
forgiving ➳ Grudges are not Snowflurry's type of game. Keeping a grudge takes work and for what? Absolutely nothing. Snowflurry can be an easily forgiving cat which is his downfall. Even if it is a severe act that causes him pain, he can forgive quickly as he wants nothing but friendship. It pains Snowflurry to be ignored or pitted against and will try anything to regain or make a friendly bond, even if not truly friends but only acquaintances.
obnoxious ➳ All Snowflurry wants is for every cat to be happy and cheerful. But this can be obnoxious when the clan needs a sense of sadness over their lost ones. Snowflurry is always depressed at the loss of a clan member but he can not help his cheery attitude, always seeking to spruce up the moods of others even if it is obviously not needed
History: kit ➳ Snowkit was born from the attached couple Softspeak, his mother, and Whitewing, his father. They were afraid he would grow up a depressed and lonely kit because of the lack of brothers and sisters surrounding him. Born in a simple and easy litter of one, Softspeak made sure that he was always constantly loved and allowed to play with other kits. Her worst fear was for the social and well-being of her only son and wanted nothing but the best, as any queen. Snowkit was not often alone, despite not having siblings. With the constant care of his parents and friends, he grew up sociable and friendly.
Very early on in life he appreciated having friends by his side, even if they ever did grow far apart. He was a seemingly popular kit, always running around and having fun. Living a temporary care free life.
apprentice ➳ As for any kit getting to leave the den, Snowkit was just as excited as any to be getting his warrior name. Calm but bursting with excitement, he let the cheers of his new name, Snowpaw, sink it. Of course, the appraisal of his parents mattered most to him. Snowpaw was commented as a fairly easy apprentice to train, his only setback was how unwilling he was to go difficult on his companions. However he soon learned that all practice was important.
Still early on in training and barely touching the topic of battling, Snowpaw was faced with a very angry and hungry badger. Naturally his gleaming white pelt signaled a healthy cat which mean a good meal for the preying predator. In an attempt to defend himself, as he was alone in the woods hunting, Snowpaw lashed out with ferocity however kept his claws in unintentionally, only so used to doing so on the few battle training sessions he had. The small white tome was nearly killed however a large patrol came to save him and he survived with only his fur on end and the memory of that angry face.
This convinced him more than enough to use force and not hold back when defending and attacking. Softspeak had covered him with enough licks to cover ten baths after the ordeal and feared for his life whenever he was sent to hunt or help patrol the borders. She much preferred him in camp, even if it meant him doing the chore of tick-picking from elders.
warrior ➳ Snowpaw was given the name Snowflurry because of his mildly fluffy pelt that resembled a, obviously, snow flurry. After moons of training and hard work, he had earned a spot in the warriors den and welcomed some peace and quiet, despite his light nature. Snowflurry still enjoys good playful tussle and a nice chat when away from duties. It is close to this time that he starts to notice Embershadow, a she-cat worth a thousand prey in his eyes.
He was struck by her beauty and kind-nature from the start. Love at first sight, if you may. Naturally Embershadow payed no mind to him and though she seemed to be a hardened tom boy she-cat on the outside, Snowflurry wanted to see her true personality that lay within the boundary of her pelt.
